Cost Estimating Podcasts

Podcasts are growing in popularity. According to a recent article by Statista, 75 percent of Americans are now aware of podcasts, and 55 percent have now listened to a podcast at some point.

In case you are interested in podcasts, there are two cost estimating related podcasts that have recently started up. Doug Howarth and I started one this summer called “Howarth States, Smart Remarks.” We currently have eight episodes out and have another coming out soon. You can check it out at https://soundcloud.com/meevaluators. Doug and I discuss cost estimating, risk analysis, and the application of analytics to sports and COVID-19.

Another recent entry into this market is “The Cost of Everything,” by UK cost estimator Amritpal Agar. You can find his podcast at https://thecostofverything.net. He covers a wide variety of subjects related to cost, including climate change, mini nuclear reactors, and crossrail.
